What I offer
WHAT I OFFER

I offer one-hour sessions of person-centred, integrative counselling to adults over 18. We begin with a free 20-minute telephone consultation to discuss your needs. If we decide to work together, we may meet online or in person at my Garden Room in York, either weekly or fortnightly to discuss issues such as:

  • Anxiety

  • Bereavement

  • Body image

  • Depression

  • Fertility

  • Gender

  • Insomnia

  • Life decisions

  • Low mood

  • Relationships

  • Self esteem

  • Self-harm

  • Sexuality

  • Stress

Whatever brings you to counselling, I will work with you. Like a co-pilot, I want to support your journey. I hope you will think of sessions as an opportunity to focus on your needs.

I will listen openly to whatever you bring to therapy. I may offer techniques and reflections but always tailored to you, because I am here to support your healing and your self-discoveries, without judgement.

Sessions take different forms, depending on whatever is helpful for you. They may include creative exercises with paper, pens, or objects like stones. We might try out meditation and grounding techniques to find what suits you best. Or we can simply talk.

My hope for every client is that through our time together, you will discover that no matter how hard things feel right now, you are not broken. You are enough.

I work with clients online and face-to-face. Some clients work in both ways depending on their schedulewe can be flexible and find what works best for you.

If you're looking for face-to-face therapy, I work from The Garden Room, which is a calm, safe and private space at the bottom of my garden in Holgate, York. You are welcome to park in the driveway or bring your bike into the garden.
